Adán se origina en el hebreo Adam
Adán se origina en el hebreo "Adam", que significa "hombre", pero que a su vez, también significa "rojo", refiriéndose al color rojizo de la epidermis humana. En el Génesis, del Antiguo Testamento, leemos que Dios formó a Adán con tierra, en hebreo "adamah". Más específicamente con tierra virgen, la cual es roja, y por eso Adán, era no solo "hombre", sino "el rojo", formado directamente de la tierra virgen, la cual es ROJA, y traído a la existencia por Dios.

Algunos cuadros pintados de la Edad Media y el Renacimiento, muestran erróneamente que Adán y Eva tenían "ombligo". Simplemente, Adán y Eva no tuvieron padres porque ambos fueron creados por Dios en una forma adulta. Un ombligo implica un nacimiento con parto, lo cual ellos jamás experimentaron. Un ombligo, marca el punto de donde salía tu cordón umbilical cuando naciste. Ese cordón era un tubito blando y flexible que transportaba nutrientes (vitaminas y minerales) de tu mamá a tu cuerpo, cuando todavía estabas dentro de su vientre.
